These terms govern your use of this store and any order you place with us. By using the store or placing an order you accept them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns policy.

1. Who We Are

Laya Boutique operates this store. Contact details are on our Client Care page. Registered business details appear on your invoice.

2. Using the Store

You may browse and shop for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to scrape or systematically copy our content, resell our products as new without authorisation, interfere with the store's operation, or use it for anything unlawful.

3. Products & Descriptions

We photograph every piece in natural light and describe fabrics as accurately as we can, but screens differ and natural fabrics vary slightly between runs. Small variations in colour, weave and embroidery are characteristic of hand-finished garments and are not defects. Measurements in our size guide are body measurements, not garment measurements.

4. Orders & Contract

Adding an item to your bag does not reserve it. Your order is an offer to buy; the contract forms only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order where an item is out of stock, a price or description was clearly wrong, payment was not authorised, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after taking payment, we refund in full.

5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in the currency selected and include applicable taxes where indicated. Shipping, duties and import taxes are shown separately at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. If an item was listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before proceeding.

6. Made-to-Measure & Bespoke

Made-to-measure and bespoke commissions are cut to the measurements you supply and confirm at your fitting. Because they are personalised, they cannot be returned or exchanged except where faulty. A deposit is payable at the point of commission and is non-refundable once cutting has begun. Lead times are estimates given in good faith.

7. Cancellation & Returns

Your cancellation and return rights are set out in full in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Statutory rights, including any cooling-off period that applies where you live, are unaffected.

8. Promotions & Gift Cards

Discount codes are single-use unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time. Gift cards do not expire, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

9. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this store, including photography, copy, design, and the Laya Boutique name and marks, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from it without written permission, other than briefly sharing a product page in the ordinary way.

11. User Content

If you submit reviews, photographs or other content, you confirm it is yours to share and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it in connection with our products. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or offensive.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

13. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs delays, extreme weather, or interruption to our suppliers. We will tell you promptly and offer a refund where a significant delay results.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. We would always rather resolve a problem directly, so please write to us first.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
