Our commitment
Laya Boutique wants every client to browse, choose and buy with ease, whatever their ability or the device they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we review the site as new pages and products are added.
The accessibility menu
Select the round accessibility button in the bottom left corner of any page to open the menu. Your choices are remembered on this device until you reset them.
- Text size: enlarges or reduces page content in steps of ten percent.
- High contrast: switches to black text on a white background.
- Highlight links: underlines and outlines every link.
- Readable font: replaces decorative type with a plain, highly legible font.
- Text spacing: adds space between lines, letters and words, and aligns text to the left.
- Pause motion: stops animations, videos and smooth scrolling.
- Grayscale: removes colour from the page.
- Large cursor: enlarges the mouse pointer.
- Hide images: hides photographs and video to reduce distraction.
What we have built in
- Keyboard navigation throughout, with visible focus outlines.
- Text alternatives for product photography.
- Respect for your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Clear labels on forms, buttons and quantity controls.
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and screen magnifiers.
Known limitations
Some older product images and third-party features, such as payment providers and embedded maps, may not yet fully meet these standards. We are working to improve them.
